Hey, everypony! There is quite some awesome news for us, as metacrtitic just released the comprehensive, all-in-one newfoal’s guide to bronydom! The guide specifically explores the fandom’s different aspects and fanwork, and boy, it is extensive. Like, I will take the 2 hours time out of my day to read this whole thing (about more or less). They go into the origins and explain Dr. Whooves, Lyra and Bonbon, Sweetie Bot, Ponies in Socks, and even why Fluttershy is considered a tree. They cover important youtube channels, fan fiction, tumblrs, and much, much more. They do have only one major flaw, though, and it is that in the news site section one of the prominent news pony sites out there, the daily oat, was missed and misspelled as Equestria Daily. However, one cannot fault them, and any further explanation of the article will only stall you readers from getting to the awesome guide. Here’s the link again, if you missed it.
Bronies for Good, the organization we all know and love for bringing bronies together to help fight poverty in places like Uganda, have announced this Christmas, they’ll host an extremely fantastic duo fundraiser event! Both Bronystate and Brony Radio have respectively worked with many of the fandom’s artists, voice actors, and musicians to double premiere on Sunday, Dec. 22 two sure to be truly heartwarming and exceptional works, A Dash of Christmas and A Princess Carol, to help stir the joy of Christmas in our hearts and at the same time bring it to some of our poorer brothers and sisters. But don’t just take my word for it, go on ahead and read the press release after the break to see! Continue reading
Guesssss What! EFNW announcing their second buckin pony musiks concert, that’s what! Yes, you heard right! News just off the presses: In Seattle on October 19, our dedicated EFNW will be once again hosting a music concert, Elements of Melody: Everfree’s Eternal Night. Bringing seven diverse pony musicians like The Overpones and DJ Everfree, this seems to be as promising as Ponystock (the last concert EFNW did). But enough of my introduction, I will leave you readers in the hands of the press release to deliver the undiluted awesomeness itself! Continue reading
… Extravaganza. It had to be added, sorry.
Where have the Bluescreen Bronies been? They’re still hard at work, and this week it’s a special! Meredith Sims of Silly Filly Studios guest stars in this unforgettable episode of… Blue. Screen. Bronies. Full announcement and video after the break.

In a freak turn of events that nobody really expected, the feminist movie reviewer btchflicks.com has posted an article about the Bronies documentary. The writer, Myrna Waldron, is a traveled feminist blogger with an emphasis on geeky things. She’s decided to point her M41-A at the Brony Documentary, decrying it as ‘Propaganda’. I think she’s totally justified in saying that. But if you want to avoid the shnark and cut straight to the meat, the actual article can be read right here.
The show with the manliest Brony alive has selected BronyCAN as this episodes interviewees! Rebecca Shoichet, head of both Public and Guest Relations, will be there, with (obviously) Dustykatt and Screwball as the interviewers. Stay tuned for it, as there will be a special announcement about the con coming up! It starts at 5 PM Pacific Standard Time on August 12th, so be there! Press release below the break.
The newest Cantercast Episode is up! Enjoy this off-season goodness! In this episode, we get major news about some of the embarrassingly convoluted and actually selfish behind-the-scenes action going on at some cons. All I’ll say is that some bronies really need to start remembering the fundamental lessons of friendship that brought us all together in the first place, lest they be not called bronies anymore (our very own Scootareader, in fact, recently wrote a good article on this topic). At the very least, let the drama begin (*Discord laugh*). You can view the actual episode here or stay here after the break for the video. Continue reading
And its name is “Seed No Evil.” This doesn’t really even need an explanation; head over here to watch it on Vimeo, or just head past the break where we’ve got it as well! Stay sexy, Sherclop.
EDIT: It seems the Vimeo video was taken down because it was . . . released early? Who knows. Here is the link to the YouTube version. We replaced the video below as well.
You know what’s even better than being creative for the sake of being creative? Being creative for the sake of charity! Uchu Cazador has produced a PMV in support of VH1 Save the Music Foundation. He has even gotten the green light from those who produced the album with the song, EMW Music Group, so that this PMV can raise more money for the charity that they are raising the money for. You can buy the album here (all proceeds to go the Save the Music Foundation), and you can head past the break to see the fantastic PMV that Uchu created.
