Phew, it seems like a lot of comic artists are on guests lists everywhere in the con world this year! MLP-MSP’s latest foray in this popular movement will be comic writer Ted Anderson and cartoonist Zander Cannon from the comic series! Anderson has done work on the Pinkie Pie micro series # 5 and issue # 3, “Friends Forever,” while Zander is a co-founder of his own cartooning studio, Big Time Attic, and has drawn Source Comic Games’ variant cover of the above micro-series. Check out the full press release below!
It’s time to smile! Andrea Libman, who I’m sure you’ll already know as the voice of Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, will be heading over to Baltimare this year for the big Bronycon convention. August 1-3 will see her and an already heavy roster of guests head down to Charm City for a weekend of celebration of all things Pony. Check out BC’s press release after the break.
What is there to see in Minneapolis? Well, there better be a world’s largest twine ball (currently in Darwin, Minnesota) when we get there. They’ve announced the premier party pony and the most shy and timid pony hybrid voice actor to be attending their convention: Andrea Libman. Our best hope in this case is that the twine ball arrives before the convention opens, otherwise we won’t feel quite as touristic and our dreams of seeing the great twine ball of Minneapolis will have been dashed in the name of a Pinkie Pie party that wanted the same ball. Or maybe Fluttershy needs it for a cat that she’s taking care of. According to Google Maps, it’s an hour from Darwin to Minneapolis, so let’s beef up pony protection patrols.
… Anyway, head below the break to check out what MLP-MSP has to say in light of this new information.
You can only choose one to be best pony; who will it be? Well, thankfully you don’t have to choose best voice talent, because Andrea Libman will be there, and she voices both of them! What’s that, your favorite pony isn’t Fluttershy or Pinkie Pie? Then head to Edmonton BronyExpo and let them help you change your mind!
But wait, there’s more! Ever wondered who it was that introduced you to all the wonders of Appleloosa? Spearheaded the Buffalo Relocation Project? Nearly ended the war singlehandedly?
Has some questionable fanart? Then look no further than his voice talent, Michael Daingerfield! He’ll be there to rival Andrea and try to steal our hearts as best pony at the same expo. The announcement from the convention can be found after the break.
Four days until this comic is released in its entirety. Just four days. Oh, who are we kidding? Episodes are only once a week, we’ve already looked up all the spoilers for the upcoming episodes and other pony events, and we’re trying to refrain from saving more random pictures and music for fear that our woefully disorganized pony media folders will become even more disorganized. What else is there?
Well, there’s a great new comic coming out, but it’s four whole days away! So, what’s another spoiler? What, you mean this spoiler? Ah, just click it. Get hype over pony comics. It’s the only way to be happy with your life. Well, that and friendship. But friendship is difficult, this spoiler is a click away. Join us.
Does the above picture terrify you? You’re not the only one! Elle, the mother of a child who owns this changeling-spawn, is convinced that her doll is haunting her. The full title of the article? “My daughter’s possessed my little pony doll is going to come to me one night and eat my face off.” Be warned that she does use some colorful language to describe this creature. It is, however, quite entertaining.
Strangest thing! In their press releases, Build-A-Bear segments their images.
Did you miss Pinkie Pie on her first round of Build-A-Bear? Well, you’re in luck! As announced in their press release, Build-A-Bear is bringing back Pinkie Pie to stores on November 29th, on Black Friday. In the meantime, she is available to purchase online right now. Where, you ask? Why, here, of course! You can enjoy your Pinkie Pie purchase in style and beat the voracious crowds of mothers fighting to give their children the best pink pony ever to grace Build-A-Bear.
According to a statement issued by Build-A-Bear Workshop’s facebook page, they are no longer producing the Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie plushies of their MLP line. They will continue to be available so long as current supplies last, which judging by the rate that they’ve been selling so far, are not going to last very long. In related news, the Twilight Sparkle and Spike plushies are going to be $25.00 USD and $10.00 USD respectively, proving once again that Spike is worth less than a pony.
Thanks Lou for the tip! ~♬
